Merry christmas!

今年的圣诞，没有圣诞大餐，没有火鸡。但因为与好友一家的偶遇，所以特别开心。
原来吃什么不重要。重要的是跟谁吃。

中秋节快乐！

从英国回来后就不太喜欢过年过节。家里人少，总觉得孤单。

特地出去凑热闹，希望可以感染些中秋节的气氛，看看大家提的灯笼，却发现代的人手上挂着拿着的不再是传统式的灯笼，而是由电池操作的电式灯笼，心中有点失望。后来在人群中看到很多人放孔明灯，虽然不太赞同，却还是停下来看看。

爱情有时就像孔明灯一样，只有那一刹那的热情。热情过后的爱情就像从天上掉下来的孔明灯，没有了那燃烧的热气撑着，掉下来等待被清理。

望着天空的孔明灯，我希望它们的火不会灭。

Donuts + Caffeine fix

The Big Apple Donuts & Coffee finally has a branch in Sibu Town about two weeks ago. This is the first donut shop in town. As expected, there had been huge line at the shop since its opening. The last time we went there, they barely have anything. Everything was gone. It was almost 9pm I think. We were ordering while they were busy making new donuts as they like. We only managed to grab whatever they had on the tray and 3 cup of teas. HY, the coffee addict said it is incomplete without the coffee. xD

With the excuse of incompleteness, we decided to go again last Sunday. We had too many choices this time. We didn't know which one to choose. So, KC decided we take whichever ones that look nice or sound delicious. :D

Chocoholic donut. My favourite! The first one from the left on the top row. The one with a small white star in the middle. I never quite understand the purpose of the white star as a decoration and you cannot taste anything from it. Chocoholic is basically a double chocolate donut - dark chocolate coating on top with chocolate filling in the middle. Very chocolatey. Only if you like chocolate.

My second choice is the tiramisu donut. The third one from the left on the top row. It has a strong coffee coating with a coffee filling in the middle. A bit of cocoa on top as decoration I guess. It is so far the best coffee donuts among all.

The second one from the left on the top row is the Dough Vinci donut. I think it is cappuccino with some cream filling. I had it but i forgot the taste. Guess it is not as good. Otherwise I would remember.

KC picked the Sunspot donut, which has a white icing sugar coating with a colorful fruit decoration in the middle. I think she picked it because it looks pretty. She likes anything in white. It tastes ok only.

The one next to Sunspot is another chocolate/coffee donut. It has a caramel cream filling, which is not very strong. I remember the caramel cream taste, but I don't remember how the donut tastes like.

The last one with the cheese on top is Say Cheese donut ring that KC likes alot. It has an acquire taste. It is bit salty + sweet. I think they sprinkle cheese on top of white chocolate coating. I swear it looks prettier in the Big Apple Donuts in Kuching.

To complement with the donuts, I had a cafe latte. HY had a double toasted latte. KC the mild one has her usual green tea. =)

韩江烤肉

上个星期突然想吃泡菜，结果就拉了KC和HY去韩江烤肉（Korean BBQ）吃晚饭。我想自从7，8年前在那里为KC庆祝生日后我就没有再去那里了。

我们3个女生点了个韩式烧烤，有菜、豆腐、鱼，还有我最爱的羊肉。很好吃。汤底也不错。

当然有我想吃的泡菜。好吃。很下饭。不太辣，适合我这种不太会吃辣的人。

炸鱿鱼。不错，可是没什么特别。

我点的Beef bibimbab。勉强还好，比我想像中的差太多了。不能要求太高，bibimbab 在镇上还真是只此一家。:D

听说韩国人都很瘦，原因是他们每天都吃泡菜。自从回来后就胖了很多，不知道如果我也经常吃泡菜，可以减肥吗?

难得的早餐

虽然不是个习惯早起的人，但却特别喜欢早餐。有份好的早餐，一天都会有好心情。

难得昨天早起，又难得老友可以抽出30分钟吃个早餐，虽然不是我想吃的点心，但也觉得好㖞心。：）
